Allen’s Meadow Sightings

What a beautiful day here in Connecticut with many nice birds at a local nearby patch, Allen’s Meadow in Wilton, CT. Kudo’s to Matt Hoyt for starting the day off when he found a LARK SPARROW bright and early on Thursday morning. The next thing you know, Tina Green finds a NORTHERN WHEATEAR near the beginning of the community garden. WOW! Tina well done. Again!

We never did see the Lark Sparrow all afternoon. But tomorrow’s another day! However, We did see some other delights that helped round up the day.
