Tarry Lodge of Westport Connecticut, was honored by Slow Food Metro North with the “Snail of Approval” Award at a celebration in Westport on Saturday, June 29, 2013. The afternoon featured outstanding tasting of hors d’ouvre, made from locally sourced ingredients and Bastianich Wines. 

The Snail of Approval is awarded By Slow Food Metro North, to those producers, purveyors and artisans who contribute to the Quality, Authenticity and Sustainability of our food. Slow Food Metro North is a local chapter of Slow Food USA, serving the counties of Westchester and Putnam, NY and Fairfield, CT. Slow Food Metro North

Andy Nusser, Renowned Executive Chef, Managing Partner and Mario LaPosta, Chef de Cuisine, rely on Connecticut’s agricultural bounty to help create their signature hand-made pastas, exquisite fritti, succulent meats and world-class pizzas.
