    A bit belatedly, but I just caught sight of this fellow and he is so ridiculously perfect for a Christmas greeting. You could probably photoshop a red fluffy Santa hat onto him to complete the look. Hope you had a wonderful holiday season, looking forward to more in 2014!

    Thanks Townsend for sharing this cute looking juv male Snowy. The head size and shape clinch it for me. I didn’t realize the juv male also has the heavy dark brown markings as well. I’m not sure I’ve seen the male at all. I have not seen any yet this year, but I’m sure I will.
